Claire Domitric is a Canadian artist who paints, draws and makes original prints.  Her style is representational with an expressive brushstroke.  Inspired by nature, traveling, reading and her everyday experiences, Claire paints from a variety of sources.  She enjoys the creative process and tends to work on more than one painting at a time.  With each stroke of the brush loaded up with juicy paint, she aims to create vibrant images.

Shortly after graduating with a  B.F.A. from Queen’s University, Claire won the “Best in Oils” painting award at the Toronto Indoor Art Exhibition.   Since then she has been creating new works, exhibiting and selling her art, including appearances at juried shows.    She received The Dorothy Emery Award in Art Education upon graduation from the University of Western Ontario where she completed her Bachelor of Education degree.

Over the years, she has shared her enthusiasm for art through teaching at a variety of schools and art galleries in Toronto, Vancouver and North Bay.  While focused on her art practice, she continues to lead art classes and workshops.
